Rescue pets rehomed

The Petstock Foundation has supported the re-homing of 7,000 rescue pets across New Zealand together with our store network and partner rescue charities.

This National Pet Adoption Month we need your help more than ever. Through no fault of their own, thousands of pets enter the rescue cycle each year. We want to provide them with loving homes because, when it comes to pets and people, we’re better together.

What's happening Adoption Weekend?

Find your best mate!

Adoption Weekend is the 16th & 17th of March

Head into your local Petstock store from 10am – 2pm to:

  • Meet pets available for adoption.
  • Speak with a local pet rescue charity representative.
  • Learn more about saving lives through pet foster care.

Your new best mate might be waiting for you. Check if your store is participating and on which day below.

How do I donate and where do the funds go?

Together with our partners, we fundraise, support and advocate for pets and people to live better. We give 100% of funds raised during National Pet Adoption Month to local pet rescue charities to support pets in need. Funds are used to provide food, healthcare, shelter, enrichment, and microchipping.

You can donate to this cause at any Petstock store counter.

Better Together

Pets have a positive impact on our everyday life. They’re the pitter patter of paws down the hallway, that comforting body curled at your feet, the companion you return to each day. And yet, many pets enter the adoption cycle each year through no fault of their own. Open your heart to a pet in need and experience the inspiring love of adoption.
